I was walking around New Olympic Stadium (新オリンピックスタジアム) in Tokyo (construction going on yet) in November 2019, Shinjuku City (新宿区), Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本).
In another day on November 2019, I walked around New Olympic Stadium Tokyo (新オリンピックスタジアム東京) from JR Shinanomachi Station (信濃町駅) (Chuo-Sobu Line (中央・総武緩行線).
I was pretty excited to see the new stadium whose official name is New National Stadium (新国立競技場) before it’s opening.
The capacity of the new Olympic (National) stadium will be 68,000. With special temporary seats, it will be maximum 80,016 when 2020 Summer Olympics (2020 Tokyo Olympics) (2020年東京オリンピック) will be Holding.
According to some articles, the Tokyo Olympic stadium 90% finished during July 2019 and will open for the first time next month in December 2020.
The construction is still going on yet, but we feel an enormous 80,016 people of excitement.
Just in case, I walked from JR Shinanomachi Station to New Olympic Stadium. And then I walked all way around the stadium. In addition, I stopped by Japan Olympic Museum on the way. After you watch this video, you won’t miss the stadium.
It was about 34 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot. Please check it out!
