I was walking around Asakusa (浅草), Senso-ji (浅草寺) (Temple) and Asakusa station (浅草駅) in Tokyo (東京) Taito City (台東区), Japan (日本) during the day time on November 2020.

Asakusa Senso-ji Temple is one of the most crowded tourist spots in Tokyo.

However, much fewer people are walking around this area because of the affection of coronavirus (COVID19).

Hopefully, everything will be normal as soon as possible.

I walked around JR Asakusabashi Station (JR浅草橋駅). I walked from East Entrance (東口) to around West Entrance (西口) and came back to East Entrance.

I was walking around Uguisudani Station (鶯谷駅) in Taito City (台東区) Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本).

I walked around JR Uguisudani Station (JR鶯谷駅) from South Entrance (南口) to North Entrance (北口). 

It’s a great neighborhood to live around among JR Yamanote Line.

I was walking around Ueno Station (上野駅) in Taito City (台東区) Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本).

I walked around JR Ueno Station (JR上野駅) from Shinobazu Gate (不忍改札). 

First, in first, I went to Central Gate (中央改札) which is the main hall. Next, I went around the west area and east area of the station. After that, I went through Panda Bridge Entrance (パンダ橋口), got Iriya Gate (入谷改札) and was done to walk. 

It’s a huge station. It’s about 13 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot, so please check it out!

I walked around Ameya-Yokocho from the north exit of JR Okachimachi Station.

I went around all way down and got the Entrance from JR Ueno Station.

It was a really sunny and happy day to walk around.

I walked around JR Okachimachi Station (JR御徒町駅) from North Entrance (北口). 

First, I was walking around the west area of the station and went to South Entrance (南口). After that, I went around the east area and came back to the North Entrance.

I was walking around Asakusa (浅草), Senso-ji (浅草寺) (Temple), Tokyo (東京) Taito City (台東区), Japan (日本).

I walked around 6 pm in November 2019. It was the busiest time in the evening. 

I started to walk from Kaminarimon (雷門) which correct name is “Furaijinmon” (風雷神門) through Nakamisedoori (仲見世通り) which is very famous for the traditional shopping area, Hozomon (宝蔵門), Five-Story Pagoda (五重塔) and Hondo (本堂) Main Hall (Japanese Buddhism) of Senso-ji (浅草寺). 

After that, I came back to Kaminarimon (雷門) through the street which is beside Nakamisedoori and was done to walk.

It was about 21 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot. It was absolutely worth it. Please check it out!

I was walking around Asakusa Stations (浅草駅), Taito City (台東区), Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本).

It was raining, but I was walking around Edo-dori Ave (江戸通り) nearby Asakusa Stations (浅草駅) of Tokyo Metro (東京地下鉄), Toei Subway (都営地下鉄) and Tobu Railway (東武鉄道)Tobu Skytree Line (東武スカイツリーライン). 

Usually, If it’s not raining, we can see the entire Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) from the intersection of Edo-dori Ave and Kaminarimon Street (雷門通り). It can see only the bottom part of the Tokyo Skytree at the time. 

It was about 12 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot. Please check it out!

I was walking around Kaminarimon (雷門), Senso-ji (an ancient Buddhist temple) (浅草寺), Asakusa (浅草), Taito City (台東区), Tokyo (東京),  Japan (日本) at night.

I got off Subway Ginza Line from Asakusa station and was walking around Kaminarimon (雷門) which correct name is “Furaijinmon” (風雷神門). And then I was passing through those traditional shopping areas (Nakamisedoori (仲見世通り) toward to Senso-ji (浅草寺). After that, I was walking and passing through Hozomon (宝蔵門) and Hondo (本堂) Main Hall (Japanese Buddhism) of Senso-ji (浅草寺). And then I came back to Kaminarimon (雷門).

It was about 25 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot. It was absolutely worth it. Please check it out!
